What’s the big deal about a mobile-responsive website?

KevinBanet, website, distorted, 500 px wideWhat does it mean to have a mobile-friendly website? Is there any difference between mobile friendly and mobile responsive?

I’m Kevin Banet, and I will design a website for you that is mobile responsive. What that means is that your website pages will be easily visible from all devices – whether a desktop, a smartphone, or a tablet. What’s called “mobile friendly” isn’t as good.

Many businesses aren’t aware that their website looks very awkward on a mobile device. These websites weren’t made for such devices, and so your prospects and customers have to scroll all around the place just to read your page. They will soon give up and go to your competitors.

Making a website mobile-responsive means that your text and pictures are resized automatically so that they look good whether they are seen on a desktop, smartphone, or tablet.

You’ve got to stay ahead in the internet world. More and more, smartphones and tablets are what’s being used today as their first choice in using the internet.

If that’s a waker-upper for you, it’s time to get competitive.

I’ll design your mobile-responsive website, and when you call or send an email, I’ll respond promptly. I’m located in the Chicago area.
