Advertising that works

A winning advertising program

Do you ever wonder if your marketing is doing any good? Are you getting customers for your investment dollars?

You may have tried all kinds of marketing methods – SEO, press releases, article writing or videos. But do you lie awake at night wondering, “am I using the best possible method to reach new customers?”

I’ve worked with these methods, and they all have merit. But after years of trial and error, studying and testing, here’s the method that I’m convinced is the quickest and simplest:

Advertising and landing-page conversion.

Let me explain. Paid advertising is the quickest way to bring in clients and customers. And among the methods mentioned above, it’s the easiest. You, the business owner, are spared the time-consuming work needed. The campaign can be up and running quickly. And you can turn it off or change at a moment’s notice.

Then you make sure you ads click to an effective landing page that sells your product or service. You also test various ads and landing page. Some work better than others. In other words, you find out which ads, and which landing pages, bring in the most number of prospects – prospects who buy your product.

When you’ve worked your ad campaign right, you’ve got your bucket of gold.

But getting there isn’t easy.

I’ve identified two aspects of a good advertising campaign: technical, and creative. The technical part is knowing the mechanics behind setting up ads on such media as Facebook. Sure, you can set up an ad in 30 minutes there, but are you making it work? If it doesn’t, how do you tweak the many options to make it work?

Facebook ads have dozens of choices, and those options are being added to every week. Will your ad be on the sidebar or newsfeed? How do I target my audience – via page fans, salary or lifestyle demographics (yes, you can choose your audience based on those who own homes of $150,000, or soccer moms).

The second factor, the creative, involves the selling skills needed. No, I’m not talking about multi-million dollar Super Bowl ads with puppies or children. They are for branding purposes. I’m talking about knowing one’s product or service, describing it clearly, answering objections, and capturing contact information.

My advertising approach with give you lead-capturing strength for your product or service. The ads I make will give you emails and/or phone numbers that can be followed up with. You’ll get their contact information right away.

How I work

I work with a small number of assistants, but I can reassure you, every word and image that comes across my desk is tweaked for perfection. You work directly with me, and I am available by phone at just about any time during the working day. If we work together, you will succeed.

Are we a good match?

Not everyone qualifies for my help. You must be willing to spend funds. To be available to review ad material. Can you answer an email within 24 hours?

I also need you to be willing to follow up on the leads I provide. It does no good to get leads and not follow up. You need to make calls promptly when prospects leave their number. Then do your best to sell your product.
